Here are a couple of recipes you won't find in any Women's Weekly cookbook. It's taken several months, dozens of taste testers and a handful of highly skilled chefs to perfect each one.
The Association has finally been granted permission to re-print them in this month's edition of Gateway, in full. They come with a complete satisfaction guarantee and have been triple-tested in our test kitchen.
IngredientsTake the five days. Gradually add the holiday-makers, the staff, the volunteers, the mini-bus and the cars.
Fold in the venue and the remaining ingredients until well combined, making sure that you add plenty of activities such as walks, Uno, trivia quizzes, cards, dominos, hookey and lawn bowls into the mix.
Set aside to rest.
ResultTen holiday-makers who've had great fun and a very enjoyable five days at "Camp Breakaway" on the Central Coast and four tired but elated staff members and volunteers who've had just as much fun as everyone else!
Alternative MethodAdd two nurses.
Replace ten enthusiastic holiday-makers from the community with seven holiday-makers who live at Huntington's Lodge or in a nursing home. Replace five days with three days.
Combine ingredients as before and then set aside to rest.
ResultAnother successful venture!
