Charities Aid Foundation

We have been asked by a number of members how they might donate to the Association on a regular basis. One way of doing this is through Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) Payroll Giving programs which allow employees the opportunity to make a significant and lasting impact on the work of their preferred not-for-profit organisations through a direct tax deductible donation from their pre-tax pay.

This system of giving provides a wide range of benefits to the employer, employees and the recipient not-for-profit organisations.

Charities Aid Foundation can assist employers in the implementation and development of payroll giving in the workplace and maintain all back-office administration to minimise costs for all parties, and to provide monthly grants to charities. More than 380 not-for-profit organisations, including the Association, are currently recipients of the program (June 2005). Funds are granted based on donor preference, which means that when an employee nominates a charity, validation checks are carried out and then funds are distributed monthly by CAF.

All programs must be endorsed by your employer. A good starting point is human resources, payroll department and those people managing your organisation's community programs.

Employee Benefits:

We already have some members giving this way. If you or your employer would like more information visit the CAF website.
